Season of Transition

Joshua 3:1 (AMP) 1 Joshua rose early in the morning and they removed from Shittim and came to the Jordan, he and all the Israelites, and lodged there before passing over.2 After three days the officers went through the camp, (SLIDE 3) 3 Commanding the people: When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God being borne by the Levitical priests, set out from where you are and follow it. (SLIDE 4) 4 Yet a space must be kept between you and it, about 2,000 cubits by measure; come not near it, that you may [be able to see the ark and] know the way you must go, for you have not passed this way before.

I believe that we are in a season of TRANSITION for the people of God corporately and individually. There will be transitions on a variety of levels and in a variety of areas. This year we will experience significant TRANSITIONS spiritually, mentally, physically, financially and relational transitions.

I believe that in 2016 we will experience significant movement (TRANSITION). God is going to reveal some doors that we haven’t seen before. He is not going to do everything for us; but He will lead us and guide us so that we will have to trust Him (…set out from where you are and follow it...). There will be some steps of faith required on our part because we will be in unfamiliar territory (…for you have not passed this way before …). This is why it is going to be imperative that we learn to recognize the voice of God and keep our eyes on Him.

Spiritually: We will begin to see the people of God exercising their Spiritual Gifts. We will surround ourselves with those who are going to hold us accountable and promote righteousness (even when we don’t want to hear it). I believe that there will be a major outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a the hearts of men will be returned unto the Lord.

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Mentally: We will allow the Word of God to transform our minds. We will commit to studying and meditating on the Word of God. There will be a transition in our thought patterns and the people of God will begin to see themselves as victors instead of victims. We will “Develop the Mind of Christ.” I sense that there will be manifested healings for mental diseases and disorders within the Body of Christ (i.e. depression, bi-polar disorder, anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, attention deficit disorder, etc.).

Mark 9:25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. 26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. 27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

Physically: The people of God will become more serious about caring for their temples. God will manifest divine healings for some, but others will be required to TRANSITION their lifestyles to experience their healing.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

• Some manifestations of our physical healing will come as a result of our actions. This will be the year that the people of God remind ourselves that our bodies are temples of the Holy Ghost. We will take possession of the promise of Divine Healing.

Financially: In 2016 there is going to be a major TRANSITION in our finances. I sincerely believe that this year God is going to manifest supernatural wealth within the Body of Christ. Some of it will be actual cash flow, but some of it is going to be through influence and resources. We are going to experience some Divine encounters and God is going to give us favor as we are faithful and committed to the purposes of God.

Relationally: There is going to be a TRANSITION in our relationships. Everyone who starts the journey with us will not remain with us. Don’t be moved by the comings and goings of people. We are in a season of TRANSITION. This is a year of harvesting and the wheat and the tares will be revealed. There will be some who depart on divine assignment, and others will simply fall by the wayside. There will be unity in the Body of Christ!

• Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Joshua 3:3 (AMP) 3 …When you see the ark of the covenant…set out from where you are and follow it… 4…for you have not passed this way before.

Just as the Children of Israel took action and moved toward their destiny, let’s take action move toward ours. Let’s keep the Ark of the Covenant (represents the Anointing) before us and allow Him to lead our way. Let’s commit to being who God called us to be and doing what he has called us to do!
